More delays than your body has room for

Woke up at 4:00 am, air port at 5, to find out my flight has been cancelled after paying $60.00 to get there, I'll have to wait until 6:00 pm. Nothing better than finding out I have to wait 12 hours to get somewhere that should take two hours to get to. After hassling some airline ladies I manage to get myself on an 8:30am flight to Toronto, to connect to Montreal at 4:00pm and finally, get home at 6:00 pm.
WELLLLLL guess what. Even my rescue flight has been delayed now. I fucking hate airplanes. So now I will talk about my holiday at home and all of the events it included.
The first night I got in at midnight, so I just went to bed... I woke up around 7am because I was too excited to hangout with Melanie, it was the same kind of feeling you get on Christmas Eve when you are 6. That night was CHRISTMADOME. Basically the best part of my entire existence and should, meaning, it will become a tradition even into the cougar years. Basically what happens at Christmadome is you go to the dome, you leave around 3, you go to the casino, if you are Jamie Curnew you have a nap on the casino floor, then... unfortunately if the only thing open once the casino closes is MacDonalds you go there and wait 2 hours for a cab. Then you get home to mama and papas house at 7am. The final step... is to go from looking like this:

To this:

Mission accomplished. I feel like I should start taking before and after photos more often.

I did some last minute Christmas shopping that morning, then had Christmas the next, blahblahblah.
Somewhere along the break I went out with a bunch of pals who couldn't all decided to stay at one place, so we went to Tribeca, and.... unfortunately the Palace, its so ghetto. We had a slumber party at HOD that night, a very uncomfortable one might I add, Justin slept on the old Risky Business van seat, Mike and I slept on the unfolded futon on account of there isn't enough room to unfold it. Mike Locke had been living on Amirs couch for that week, so he was there. Needless to say I woke up thinking I might be dead.
The next couple days I spent just hanging out with Melanie and Amir and stuff, I went to Two if by Sea with Melly and Lyssie. Deeeelicious.
New Years Eve regained my faith in New Years Eve actually being fun... because it was....for the first time EVER. I went to a party at Almon House, thinking Melanie was going to get kicked out we thought the night would just be a bust... well it was for a moment when she had to leave because Shawn drank too much. We counted down to New Years about 10 times in a row, mingled, said silly things, then we left to go to a party in Dartmouth. Alyssa and I left with Dexter and Cody, which was funny and weird because neither of us have ever really talked to them in our lives before. But it was fun. The party was really silly, I said silly things to Curtis to make him feel awkward and a bunch of other things that aren't very clear. Mike Manning, Amir and Alyssa all came back to my house to sleep, then I spent the next two days on my couch with Alyssa recovering from the most ridiculous two weeks of my life.

ON AN ENDING NOTE:
I had fun while home, but being here mostly just reminded of why I left in the first place.
